Cooperation between China and Europe is an exciting aspect of the project. Dr. Haiwu gave a talk at the 20th anniversary of LIAMA (the Sino-European Laboratory in Computer Science, Automation and Applied Mathematics)
On July 11-12, 2017, the 20th anniversary of LIAMA (the Sino-European Laboratory in Computer Science, Automation and Applied Mathematics) was held in Lecture Hall of CASIA (Institute of automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences) in Beijing. As a 100 Talents Professor and co-founder of iEx.ec, Dr. Haiwu He, who is from the Chinese academy of sciences, was invited to attend the ceremony and give a speech.
The Sino-European Laboratory in Computer Science, Automation and Applied Mathematics, LIAMA, is a research hub, hosted by CASIA, the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, created by INRIA and CAS in January 1997. The lab’s development goal is to improve the method of the two countries in the field of science and technology of information, automation and applied mathematics in lasting and substantial international cooperation.
Dr. Haiwu He has had his Ph.D program and worked for a long time in France. He received his M. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in computing from the University of Sciences and Technologies of Lille, France, respectively in 2002 and 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at INRIA Saclay, France in 2007. He was a research engineer expert at INRIA Rhone-Alpes in Lyon, France from 2008 to 2014.
After returning to China, he worked as a 100 Talents Professor at the Computer Network Information Center (CNIC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and actively promoted exchanges and cooperation between the CNIC and the French scientific research institutions, and achieved fruitful results. He will be invited to attend the LIAMA 20TH Celebration and the report entitled “iEx.ec: a sino-french project on Blockchain “.
IEx.ec, as an innovative startup co-founded by Chinese and French researchers, is a result of close sino-french scientific collaboration.
