iExec is building Off-Chain Trusted Compute platform with leading Taiwanese University

iExec has signed a contract to develop a software platform for providing distributed Ethereum-based Off-Chain Trusted Compute Service.

iExec has been contracted by NCTU (National Chiao Tung University), one of Taiwan’s leading universities, to develop a platform for providing Ethereum-based Off-Chain Trusted Compute Services. The platform will use Ethereum and Intel SGX technology, using ARMv8-A™ processors with TrustZone™ support.

iExec is head of the Trusted Compute Working Group within the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. iExec is also a member of the Confidential Computing Consortium and recently joined the Google Confidential Computing program. Also, in furthering its partnership with Intel, iExec recently joined the Intel AI builder program to build a marketplace for renting trained AI models while preserving both privacy & ownership.

The contract with the NCTU and increasing interest from major tech players is a validation of the value of confidential computing within the mainstream industry. iExec’s continued collaboration within the field further confirms its role as a leader in trusted computing with blockchain.
